There are many wolf conservation centres throughout the world, such as the UK wolf conservation trust in England and the
Yellowstone valley park in North America. There have also been some successful reintroductions of wolf packs into the wild,
mainly in America and there are suggestions of trying something similar in the Scottish Highlands although this is only a
suggestion for now. The British government signed conventions in the 90s agreeing to consider reintroducing wolves and promoting public awareness about them. In the UK the keeping of wolves is controlled under the dangerous wild animal act. despite some evidence suggesting that you can keep wolves as pets, this is not recommended as they are difficult to control and still very much fear the human.
